Overview:
Ductulate is designed to simplify the process of sizing rectangular ductwork for HVAC systems. It combines automatic calculations with the ability for
users to input sizing criteria and constraints to create optimal ductwork sizing.
Adjustable Sizing Criteria: Default sizing criteria are provided which can be amended as required to size ductwork to specific project requirements
Manual Input Flexibility: Ductwork is sized at an aspect ratio close to 1:1 by default but Ductulate allows users to manually adjust the width and height of
the ductwork based on specific site constraints or preferences.
User References: Unique references can be added for each calculation row to keep track of each duct sized (not required for calculations).
Additional Rows: The tool allows additional sizing criteria or calculation rows to be added as required.
Enter Sizing Criteria: Input the necessary sizing parameters such as maximum velocity and maximum static pressure drop.
Enter Calculation Inputs: For each row, select a sizing criterion from the dropdown and enter a flow rate. If required, manually input constraints on
duct width or height for each row.
View Automatic Calculations: The tool will automatically provide the recommended duct dimensions and resultant velocity and pressure drop based
on the input criteria.
Finalize and Apply: With the final dimensions, you can proceed to design or install your ductwork with confidence.

This column allows you to add your
own unique reference for each duct.
This column allows you to select ductwork sizing criteria. This
includes maximum velocity and maximum static pressure drop.
Clicking the checkbox allows you to manually input a value
for duct width. Leaving the checkbox empty will allow the
width to be caluclated for you based on your sizing criteria.
Clicking the checkbox allows you to manually input a value
for duct height. Leaving the checkbox empty will allow the
height to be caluclated for you based on your sizing criteria.
